Celestial Beings call us to worship the Babe just like the shepherds that night so long ago. Click to view a photo album from our festive parish Christmas dinner. Merry Christmas from Fr. Koys, Fr. Coleman, Fr. Haynes and everyone at St. James!
This year Fr Koys would like to help the refugees. We don’t have wish lists, so we will make gift bags with small Catholic items & provide a $50 gift card in each of 100 bags. Could you help with a $50 gift card or donate any amount of money and we will pick up the cards. We will be giving these people in need a means to obtain food, clothes, or gifts. Look for a special envelope in church and then drop it in the collection basket or the box in back of church no later than Dec 11.
Support The Women's Centers of Greater Chicagoland through our annual wreath sale. Click for more information and to access the order form. All orders due on November 20th.
We need gently used winter coats and warm blankets for those in need. There is a drop box in Charlie's Chapel marked for donations from Oct. 12th through Nov. 18th. Click for more details.
Riverside presents A Christmas Carol - showtimes on Nov. 17, 18, 19 at Wheaton Academy Fine Arts Center. Many of our parish families have children in this production. Please support them, if you can. Click for more information and to purchase tickets.
Whether you’ve missed a previous offering or are hoping to dig in again, you'll be glad to know a new class will be forming for Michelle Rebello’s course, Commentary on the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
